Racekap voor de Snoek

Deze week werken we aan de racekap voor de Snoek. Hij was vorige week gelamineerd. Allert heeft hem op dinsdag met spuitplamuur gespoten. Op woensdag geschuurd en geplamuurd. En ’s middags gelijk in de lak gezet. Het was best heet in het hok overnacht, dus hij kon vanochtend al bewerkt worden. De eerste rit is morgen.

Allert is spraying with the filler – racehood for the QuestXS, one for the Snoek and even top part of Strada.

This week we are working on the racing hood for the Snoek. It was laminated last week. Allert sprayed it with spray filler on Tuesday, sanded it, smoothed it on Wednesday and spray-painted it immediately in the afternoon. The spray-booth was heated overnight, so it could be finished this morning. Maiden trip will be tomorrow.

Eva was finishing all windows, rubber padding and attachments in the afternoon.

The design of the hood is the same as that of the QuestXS, which Allert made last month.
